# 🧠 Market Insights

**Purpose:** Everything I'm learning about my market — behaviors, preferences, pain patterns, language.
**Format:** Append-only log. The older the better — this is how wisdom compounds.
**Skill trigger:** Run `bos-log-insight` to add entries.

## 🎯 How to Use This

### Capture moments when you think:
- "Huh, I didn't expect that"
- "They all say something like..."
- "This is the 3rd person to mention..."
- "Their body language said X when I said Y"
- "They lit up when I mentioned..."
- "They got defensive when I asked..."

Every time → note it here. Over 30 clients this becomes uncopyable market wisdom.

## 📚 Insight Log

### 2026-04-11 · Pre-launch observations

**#001 — "Content is the entry point, not the product"**
People want help with content because content is visible. They think that's their problem. Actually their problem is positioning. But you can't sell positioning to someone who thinks they need content. You sell content, then teach positioning through the process.

**#002 — "AI permission is a gatekeeper"**
Many sales people want to use AI but feel guilty/unsure. They want someone to tell them "it's OK to use this." My job might be partly giving permission.

**#003 — "Everyone has an 'I'm different but don't know how to say it' problem"**
Every single prospect conversation has included the phrase "I'm not like other agents but..." — yet none of them can articulate how. This is the positioning vacuum.

### 2026-04-11 · Philosophy observations

**#004 — "People confuse AI video with personal brand"**
I see creators outputting huge volumes of AI-generated content and calling it personal brand. It's not. It's noise. But the creators doing this don't know that yet.
**Monetization angle:** The people who already get it don't need me. The people who don't get it won't buy from me (they think they're already doing it). My market = people who suspect they're missing something but can't name it.

**#005 — "真實 is a premium feature now"**
In a world of AI-generated everything, 真實 (authenticity) has become scarce → premium. People pay more for real than for polished.

## 🔬 Behavioral Patterns

### What they do
- Scroll my IG silently before DMing
- Read pricing last
- Ask "how do you do it?" before "how much?"
- Want to see proof before anything

### What they don't do
- Actually read long-form content I send
- Attend scheduled calls without a reminder
- Make decisions in the first meeting
- Pay without a 1-day cooling-off period

## 🧭 North observations (reviewed every 3 months)

The most important insights are not tactical. They're directional. Write them here when they arrive.

- **2026-04-11:** Bowie's own origin story (「我 18 年幫公司 build 系統，自己的內容總是最後才做」) — this is probably THE most relatable hook in the whole market because it's every ambitious sales person's feeling.

- **2026-04-11:** Pilot limit of 5 isn't scarcity tactic — it's sanity protection. I literally can't deliver 10 pilots at the quality I want. Honest framing wins over fake urgency.
